The DealDotCom affiliate program is like any other, with a couple key exceptions the work for the affiliate.  First off, the program is two-tier.  What does that mean?  Well, you get a percentage (35%) for everyone you refer to the web site AND you get a percentage (15%) for  everyone THEY refer.  This is the good part.  The commission is paid for the life of their account!

Affiliate programs like this are a no-brainer.  Post a text link to the directory and you can be pushing blog users and website owners to another directory they can list their website on to gain traffic.  I frequent the forums at Bloggeries.com and I must say it’s a nice group of people that post valuable information regarding blogging.

When I saw Rob created an affiliate program for his directory, I was all over that.  A typical directory listing costs a user $35 flat one-time fee.  Of that $35 you will get $20!  That is about 58% of the total price of the listing.  If you are referring people to the program and they start to send sales to the directory, you will see $5 for each of their sales as well.  Now we are talking a cool $25 or 71% commission.  With other affiliate programs, you aren’t making nearly that high of a percent commission.  Depending on your tactics to get referrals, you could really make long term money with the program.

For a little while I was using AuctionAds on this blog. When it first came out it was the widget to have and being able to offer up products that fit your niche is always a nice thing. Since then, AuctionAds was sold and is now known as ShoppingAds.
