I currently have an ad campaign running for my IronMan Collectibles website. The campaign is running from today until next Saturday (July 26th). I tested this campaign earlier this week and was pleasantly surprised by the results.

In a two day campaign I was able to generate over $57 with the clicks that I received in that campaign. The total cost per click was only about $0.11! My total 2 day ad campaign cost me $3.28, giving me a profit of $53.72! Not bad for the first time advertising my BANS-like websites.

I have completly relied on search traffic up to this point, but since I have found a cheap way to get clicks to the websites, I think I will have to try out another campaign. The one starting today and going on all week, will hopefully have the same results. Low CPC and higher profit per day. My goal is to make at least $100 per month with my BANS-like sites, at least in the beginning and I think that I could be on my way to that goal.

Have you had any success advertising your BANS sites?

After reading my newest “must read blog of the day” (internetbusinessdaily.net) I see that Matt has posted about Facebook ads. If you don’t already know, Facebook.com has an option for you to advertise to their already growing audience. An option called Facebook Ads allows you to create an add for your website and have it shown in front of hundreds of thousands at the cost per click, or view.

Facebook ads is similar to other ad programs and systems. Basically, you create a short advertisement with a title, description and small picture. You get to also choose your audience and I think that is the best feature of the whole deal! You can choose age, sex, school, workplace, country and more. I think that if you need targeted traffic, you might want to check out Facebook ads.

Now to the coupons.

Matt listed 2 ways to get a total of $250 in coupons. I tried both of them and have been credited for all codes, so I will post them here as well. The first one is simple and only requires using the Visa Business application. When you sign up for that application, you will get an email about a $100 credit. The other 3 codes are for $50 each.

Online advertising is out of control! There are so many places you can pay to advertise it’s actually sort of funny. I have a nice way to get some clicks to your site. Now, I am not doing this type of advertising for this blog because the quality of traffic isn’t all that targeted. I have a couple of BANS websites that I would like to drive traffic to and with those types of sites, it doesn’t matter if the traffic is all that targeted. You just want to see traffic and hope it clicks through to ebay.

Projectwonderful.com has been getting bigger over the last couple of months at least. As soon as bloggers saw that Entrecard.com was using them and getting over $5 per day for their ad spots, many users went to PW in hopes of making some money from their unused ad space. The problem is that it’s really only some money. If you use the fund to spend on PW advertising than it’s no big deal, but without traffic you can’t expect to make much money from PW.

On the flip side PW has opportunities to get FREE advertising on websites that don’t set a minimum bid amount for that ad space. Sometimes this is done in hopes of increasing the bidding (more people will bid if the last bid was lower than if it was $5) the other half of time it’s a mistake when people are setting up their ad boxes.

What I do is make a simple 125×125 (I have some graphics knowledge) ad for my BANS site and look around for some FREE advertising spaces on PW. I place my bid for 2 days (the max for zero min. bid spaces) and see if I cannot get some clicks. I have just bid on a couple of spaces, on random sites, so we’ll see what happens over the next 2 days. I don’t expect to see huge results, but you never know. If you can get a 125 ad space on a website that gets 500 visits per day over the last 30 days you might be in for a surprise.

You really aren’t going to be able to get space on a site that gets 10,000 visits per 30 days because that website knows how valuable the space is. Just take what you can get, if you don’t mind making 125’s in Photoshop, you really aren’t out all that much.

If you haven’t logged into your Bidvertiser account lately, go check it out. The ad templates have a new look. In short, they look more Web 2.0-ish.

To the right, is an inactive ad. The template that I have posted above is from my HiTechblogger.com blog. It matches my colors well. You have a couple more options to customize these ads now and if you haven’t done so already, make sure you login and do some updating.

If you don’t know what Bidvertiser.com is, I’ll explain. Bidvertiser.com is a contextual advertising platform similar to Google Adsense. Although Adsense is based on your content, with Bidvertiser, you actually have to approve or decline the ads that you want to show on your website.

Bidvertiser.com pays out as little as $10 via Paypal.com and you can signup as an advertiser or publisher. Their system also includes a referral program that helps you make even more money with your website.

Right now, my biggest earner is my electronics website, believe it or not. My blogs produce some checks over a month or so, but the electronics was good from the start. If you are looking for another thing to try, give Bidvertiser.com a try and post your results, other bloggers love to see that!

After reading a recent update to Shoemoney.com, I have decided on another ad service. Adtoll.com is a new service out there that provides a directory for your ad space as a publisher and hooks you up with ad space as an advertiser. The web site is so nice to look at (I know, it’s my thing) and they provide stats for your site and an easy to follow account creation form.

Quick and simple and as soon as I saw that Shoemoney was selling ad space in his sidebar, BOOM, to the site I went to by a 125×125 in his sidebar at $20 a week for my Musicrawks.com web site! That is a killer price and of course it is booked until late Feb, but nonetheless, I have a spot reserved on Shoemoney.com for a week! That’s pumps me up no matter how I look at it.

So, the stats are young yet (the claimed only about 30 clicks that week), but I am sure by the time that my ad hits, there will be plenty of people on the lookout and the space should put up some good numbers. And if not, at least I got to advertise on a huge site one time that I could afford it

You might as well give it a try it out and see if there are any other web sites with big traffic you can advertise on while it’s cheap.

Check out my Adtoll.com Rate Card Here.

Just a quick overview of the stats on my dashboard for Entrecard.com. I have only placed one ad at this point, which got me 4 clicks in one day. That is fine. Right now I am working on banking my credits advertise on a popular affiliate marketing blog, known as, www.JohnCow.com. It will be awhile because the spot is always full, but I am willing to wait just to see what the results are of buying a card spot on a well known blog.

In the meantime, my spot is becoming a little more popular, only 21 credits to advertise on my blog. That is quite low for the category that I am in, but it has been slightly increasing.
