Using websites like Digg and Sphinn is a good way to get your blog’s name out on the internet.  Writing up nice, detailed posts about any specific topic you wish, and submitting them to these sites is a good way to gain traffic.

www.sphinn.com is just like Digg.com, in that a user will be submitting a news story, post or website for other Sphinn members to rank or vote for.  All around the internet you can see the Sphinn button, even Shoemoney.com uses this one.  Which makes sense because his blog is followed very closely and if you can get a notice when a post of his “Goes HOT” on Sphinn, you won’t miss anything he puts out.

If you have a WordPress blog, there are plenty of tools and plugins for Sphinn, as well.  They have a list of them on their tools page.  You can even make your own Sphinn button image if you want (like the one we have).  From there you should be able to start Sphinning your blog posts in a matter of minutes.
