After seeing the city that I live in, go about installing multiple round-a-bouts at a highway intersection, I got to thinking about marketing and making money online in general. 

*Side note: the round-a-bouts are installed at the on ramps, off ramps and one intersection right near the intersection.  So if you can picture it, good luck, but for this case, just take a regular round-a-bout.*

I started thinking about what people do to make some money online and ways they market their website or blog.  A lot of people stay in the round-a-bout, right?  You find something that works and you don’t want to mess that up by trying something different.  You might find a way to monetize your site, start to think about other ways, but won’t take the plunge for fear of losing what you had.

My point is that you should be willing to jump outside the loop and try something else.  Don’t be afraid of losing anything, just keep trying.  If you found a good way to market your site and have been doing it that way for years, maybe you’ll find a better way just outside that loop.

Some folks will sit in the round-a-bout going around and around all day long.  Some will go around one time and head out for another try on another avenue.  If you have ever driven inside a round-a-bout, you’ll see the people that are confused and scared, don’t be that guy.  Take the round-a-bout like everyone else, but make sure you get off once in a while to experience other avenues.
