Do you have a blog or a content website?  You can make money with the simple words that you type.  Kontera is a service that adds links to keywords in your content.  By linking to the keywords to advertisers in their system, you can make money when your readers clickthrough to the advertiser.

    I’ve been looking to add Kontera to my blog for the past couple of months and it appears to be a great source of additional income. I do have one concern however and perhaps you might offer some insight John.
    Does Google “punish” your site for running Kontera?

    This is some info that I could find doing a quick Google search for your question:
    “To be more specific, we do not permit Google ads to be published
    on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads. This would include all content-targeted ads as well as text-based ads, such as Kontera’s contextually targeted ads. We do allow affiliate or limited-text links, but we do not allow text-based ads that either directly mimic or attempt to be associated with Google ads. “

    I wonder if that includes Sidebar or banners of Google Adsense placed on the blog theme or if this only applies to “in text” posts.

    I would do more searching, the information I found may have been old. With Google, things change every 3-4 months, so you just never know. Always ask or research though. A good place to get answers is the forums at DigitalPoint.com. Good luck.
