As you already know, I have about 4 websites that are setup with the Poor Mans BANS technique that I got from reading nullamatix.com.  All of my sites have been up for at least ONE month so I wanted to take a look at them to see what type of stats they have.

RunJumpFetch.com Stats:

BoardGameBasement.com Stats:

ProjectCarCentral.com Stats:

MusicRawks.com Stats:

As you can see, the sites are getting some traffic for the month.  It is about 90% search engine traffic at this point, but I have no problem with that.  Search engine traffic is looking for something and if they find my site and clickthrough, the better it is for me.

The whole point of these types of websites is that products are noticed by search engines.  People that are searching for these terms already will be more targeted and likely to click through to eBay to make the sale.  The eBay stats for the month aren’t really comparable to the traffic, let’s take a look at those now.

As you can see the eBay stats are not to impressive.  For one month or so the sites have gained many clicks, but it appears that people are not winning the auctions or they are not placing them at all.  I guess I will just do my part and rush people to eBay and let them do the rest.

Simple Summary

The sites have been getting more and more clicks this month so far.  I have only done promotion for the sites through ProjectWonderful.com and I had a post or two stumbled for good measure :)   I really don’t plan on promoting these sites since I plan to spend most of my time on the SEO of them so they will be found via search.

If you have any of these Poor Mans BANS (or regular BANS) sites that are successful, share some of your tips here and we can all learn together.  I will be posting again at the end of the month with the updates.
